These European Closed helmets were designed to provide maximum protection during jousts. Though visibility is somewhat limited when completely closed, the front half of the helmet is hinged and lifts to allow the fighter to see when not in immediate combat.This piece is fully wearable and is a great example of the styles worn by Knights in the 15th and 16th centuries.
