The CARAT, GRAM, and OUNCE modes are perfect for measuring rough, uncut treasures, jewelry, coins & bullion. The GRAIN mode is commonly used to weigh archery arrows & gunpowder for reloading. It also has a piece counting mode which is great for counting any small items that weigh up to half an ounce.
